Melanie Takii
Intake Assistant
Melanie Takii has worked as Intake Assistant at the firm since 2013. Melanie graduated from San Diego State University in 2007 on the Dean’s List with bachelor’s degrees in both Sociology and Spanish.
As the firm’s Intake Assistant, Melanie fields new consumer inquiries and organizes the paperwork and data submitted to the firm for prompt attorney consultation. A veteran of the escrow industry, Melanie demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and employs organizational tools to manage a complex workload and track all aspects of client intake management.
As a requirement of her language studies at San Diego State, Melanie participated in an International Student Exchange Program to complete one semester in Chile at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso. As a part of this language immersion program, Melanie completed a full course load in Spanish, lived with a host family in Viña Del Mar, embraced the local culture, and shared lessons in tradition and language with the local youth. Mel’s fluency in Spanish has proven an invaluable resource in communicating with the firm’s Spanish-speaking clients.
Mel strives to live a balanced and active life and achieve personal and professional growth. Outside the office, you will likely find Mel surfing or playing frisbee with her husband and their dog, Bully.
